This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website, application, and AI generation services (collectively, the "Service").

a. Personal Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication tokens via Google OAuth.
b. User Content: We collect the scripts, World Bibles, character profiles, and image assets you upload or create within the Service.
c. Usage Data: We automatically collect telemetry data, such as IP addresses, browser types, and interactions with our UI to monitor system stability and abuse.

3. How We Use Your Data (And AI Training)

We use your data strictly to provide and improve the Service.

AI Training & Your Content

We do NOT use your private scripts, storyboards, or World Bibles to train our foundational AI models. Your creative IP belongs to you. We pass your prompts to our AI providers (such as Replicate and OpenAI) solely for the purpose of generating your requested output. Our enterprise agreements with these providers prohibit them from using your data for model training.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share your data only with essential third-party service providers required to operate RanGen Studio:

  • Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
  • Vercel: For frontend hosting and edge computing.
  • AI Providers (Replicate, OpenAI, Google): For executing generation tasks (processing prompts into images/text).

5. GDPR and EU User Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of your personal data.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account and all associated World Bibles/scripts directly from your account settings.
  • Right to Portability: You can export your storyboards and data in standard formats.

We employ industry-standard security measures, including Row Level Security (RLS) on our databases, to ensure that your projects remain strictly isolated from other users. We adhere to OWASP security guidelines to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
