How to switch visual themes (Cinematic, Tactical, Windows XP)

RanGen Studio offers distinct visual environments tailored for long editing sessions, high-focus directing, or creative experimentation.


Available Studio Themes

  1. Cinematic Dark (Default): A sleek, darkroom-inspired dark palette designed to maximize contrast when reviewing lighting, color grading, and rendered shot compositions.
  2. Tactical Cyberpunk: A high-tech aesthetic featuring angular HUD borders, skull iconography, and high-visibility status indicators.
  3. Windows XP Retro Mode: A playful, fully interactive retro OS skin featuring the classic taskbar, Luna blue window chrome, and authentic soundscapes.

Step-by-Step: Changing Your Theme

  1. Click the Gear icon (Settings) located in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the Settings modal, locate the Interface & Theme section.
  3. Under Base Theme, select your preferred style:
    • Select Cinematic for the modern dark workspace.
    • Select Tactical for the HUD layout.
    • Select Windows XP for the retro operating system experience.
  4. Customize your background effects:
    • Ambient Particles: Toggle background floating embers and particle fields on or off.
    • Mouse Trail FX: Enable or disable dynamic cursor trails.
  5. Your selection saves automatically to your profile preferences.
